About The Teacher
I graduated in 1991 from the College of Mount St. Joseph with my BA degree in Elementary Education. This is my 21st year teaching at St. Teresa School. During this time I've taught 2nd and 3rd graders. My husband Dave and I have seven magnificent sons. Our family has been growing during the last few years. We also have two wonderful daughter-in-laws and 5 beautiful grandchildren, two granddaughters and three grandsons. In the summer I work as a Water Safety Instructor at Philipp's Swim Club. I enjoy reading and staying active. I have been teaching yoga on Saturdays at Bally's in Western Hills for the past 6 years. This past year I completed a 300 hour training to receive my full certification as a Yoga instructor. I now help as a sub at the Balance Yoga studio on Westbourne and the World Peace studio on Ludlow. I love sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with my students. Mission
My mission as an educator is to inspire each of my students to become a life-long learner. I will do all that I possibly can to help each child develop academically, spiritually and emotionally during their third grade year. As your child's third grade Religion teacher I intend to share my knowledge, understanding and experience of God's unconditional love, and His message for each of us. I will continue to further my students' knowledge and understanding of the gifts of the sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist.
