About The Teacher
I have my BA degree in elementary education from the College of Mount St. Joseph. This is my 18th year teaching at St. Teresa School. I've taught 2nd and 3rd grade during those years. My husband Dave and I have seven sons. Our family has been growing during the last few years. We also have two wonderful daughter-in-laws and 5 beautiful grandchildren. In the summer I work as a Water Safety Instructor at Philipp's Swim Club. I enjoy reading and a variety of exercising, including my favorites, yoga and swimming. I have been teaching yoga on Saturdays at Bally's in Western Hills while continuing my training. It seems when I have a passion in life I usually end up teaching it! Mission
My mission as an educator is to inspire each of my students to become a life-long learner. I will do all that I possibly can to help each child develop academically, spiritually and emotionally during their third grade year. As your child's third grade Religion teacher I intend to share my knowledge, understanding and experience of God's unconditional love, and His message for each of us. I will continue to further my students' knowledge and understanding of the gifts of the sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist.
