Unique Exposure/Enrichment

	Grade 8 decorates Turkeys for the Annual Price Hill Community 
Parade 
	School-wide Christmas Card Contest that features winning card 
covers 
designed by students and sold to raise money for the school
                Field trips to local art exhibits or museums
	St. Teresa Annual Arts Festival includes a visual art show of 
student work with representation from every student, hands on arts & crafts, 
and a live play preformed by the students.
	Fine Arts Scholarships are awarded to four graduates who 
excel in either 
art or music. 

You might not know about…
	St. Teresa of Avila’s Church donated to The Cincinnati Art 
Museum 
two sculpture angels that were being housed at St. Teresa.  They are now a 
part of the permanent Cincinnati Wing collection.
	Rookwood pottery tiling welcomes guests in the front hall and 
stairway of school building
	A large tile mural of endangered species created by fourth 
grade 
students as a learning link grant. 
	Mosaic coffee table created by eighth grade students and sold 
to 
raise money for the school

3-Instruments: Musical Instrument families/orchestra etc.

4/5-Musical Periods (Composers, instruments, and Music from Medieval up to 
Contemporary Periods. --> 5th grade will have a Veteran's Day performance at 
Bayley Place Retirement Home

6-Music and Dance through history -->Dress like famous musicians/artists 
during Fine Arts Week to help present a "scavenger hunt" for the school

7-Contemporary Music/Musicians -->Students will create their own music videos

8-Musicals focus on theatre/drama, learn about famous musicals-- they will 
compose their own musical --Students will perform "High School Musical" in 
the Spring
