| 1)The library should be a QUIET place where students can read or do research
and not be distrubed by others.
2)Each student may check out 2 books for 1 week and may then renew them for
1 more week.
3)Overdue books should be put in the library bin NOT the classroom bin.
4)A fine of 5 cents will be charged for every school day the book is late.
If a student is absent on their library day their books should be returned
to the LIBRARY on the day they return.
5)Overdue notices will be sent out each week. A student may not check out
another book until this notice is taken care of.
6)If a book is lost or damaged, the student is responsible for the cost
determined by the librarian. A notice of the cost will be sent home to their
parents.
7)In order for a student to exchange their points for prizes at an AR
Incentive Day they must have returned all their library books and paid any
fines.
AR Incentive Days are always held on a Friday in February and also May. A
students account must be up to date by the Friday before the scheduled date
to be able to exchange their earned points.
