Ms. Palmer's Website, Second Grade, Stevenson Elementary, Room 108

       Students in class became very concerned about global warming.  They
      wanted to keep lights out as much as possible.  They decided to ask PTO
      to buy crank flashlights to use so that classroom lights could be kept
      off during times like indoor recess.  After PTO bought the flashlights,
      the students wrote them thank you letters.  Samples of the letters are
