Mrs. Ladner's Kindergarten Kids Are The BEST! |
All About Me!Hello Everyone and Welcome to Kindergarten! We are going to have a lot of fun
this year learning together. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and thought that you might want to know a little bit about me too. Here are a few things about me and the people (and animals) I love very much! I graduated from Kent State University in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. I also earned a Master’s degree in the area of Curriculum and Instruction from Kent State in 1999. I have been teaching for the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District for 17 years. In those years, I have worked with students in the Kindergarten, First, Second and Third grade levels. These many changes have given me a broad understanding of where children have been and where they are going in the learning process. I especially love teaching my "Kindergarten Kids" in Room 19! My husband Jeff and I have been married for seventeen wonderful years. Our daughter, Clarissa is ten years old and attends Lakeview as a fifth grader this school year. We love going on bike rides and walks together and we also love riding roller coasters! Also, going to a Cleveland Indians baseball game together is the best! I enjoy scrapbooking, church activities, reading and exercise…well, exercise…most of the time! ☺ We have two beagle dogs named Calypso and Remmington. We also have a guinea pig named Twittles and a bunny named Oliver. We also have several fish! My favorite food is salad with lots of tomatoes! I love chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and I enjoy an ice cold diet coke every once in a awhile. My favorite colors are red and pink. I was born and raised here in Stow and went to Indian Trail and Echo Hills Elementary. This past summer I went to Hershey Amusement Park and to Washington D.C. for vacation. My family and I had a lot of fun together! I am looking forward to a terrific school year together with all of you! |
