Many of you ask me about a classroom schedule. I wanted to share with you what a typical day might look like while your children and I are together. Please know that this schedule is a framework as to how we will spend our time, therefore, things may change so that I can be flexible for those special, teachable moments.  I also want you to know however; that I feel consistency is a key component to our success as a team and (I like to say) classroom family.  I will try very hard to follow the schedule mentioned below. 8:45-8:55                  Students arrive for the day!
8:55                          Tardy bell rings.
9:00                          Mrs. Milford’s announcements!
9:00-9:20                  Morning Routine with calendar, pledge, weather, etc.
9:20-10:00                Academic Time (language arts, math, science, social studies, science, health, etc.)
10:00-10:30/11:00    One of our special classes (music, gym, library, art).  Art is an hour
(Some variations.)    long and gym class is 40 minutes.
 **Following our specialist scheduled class, we will have snack and friendship time!**
 **Restroom and drink breaks will follow snack and lunch but will also be throughout the day as needed**
11:00-11:45                Academic Time
11:45-12:25                Lunch and Recess
12:25-12:50                Rest and Teacher Reading Time! (Students may bring a towel to lie on and can also bring a                                                     stuffed animal to rest with.)
12:50-1:05                  Restroom and Drink Break
1:05-2:30                    Academic Time
2:30-2:50                    Learning Centers and Activities
2:50-3:10                    Recess
3:10-3:20                    Get ready to go home.
3:20-3:30                     Dismissal
