100% Homework Club
In my class, students are expected to spend 60 minutes on homework every night. Homework teaches responsibility, accountability, and perserverence, as well as reinforces the skills learned in class each day. I feel that school is a job for students and homework is one of the job requirements. All homework assignments must be completed, using a student's best effort, and turned in or checked by me by 9:05 each morning. Every Single Day. Since homework is required to be completed by all students, I don't feel they should be rewarded for turning it. However, we all enjoy some sort of recognition for our hard work. The following students have turned in their homework 100% of the time for the first quarter. Congratulations, students, and thank you for your hard work and dedication!
