Students have just been introduced to the Invention Convention. They were given the requirements and plenty of samples of good and not so good boards. Many questions were asked and answered during the information time, so we believe that they should be fully aware of the expectations. We encouraged students to select the invention of a thing, place, event, etc. that they find interesting. Our hope is that they will find this to be an exciting time of learning.
We are awaiting the arrival of our Class Cookbooks. They worked very hard on them and I am anticipating the final product will be something they will be proud of. Once the books arrive, you will receive further information regarding our meeting date when the kids will have a chance to invite their loved one to class to enjoy some treats from our book and spend some quality time together. This is the first year for this and I am really looking forward to it.
