We have just completed our first book! Students met this past week to discuss "The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler". Thanks to Mrs. Windom for helping out with the discussion and also thanks to the parents who made it possible for us to enjoy apple cider and doughnuts.
Not all of the students said that they liked the story, however, there were many who did. The discussion was great and I think that they all enjoyed sharing opinions, thoughts, and discoveries from the story together. The following students can be proud for going above and beyond:

We will meet again in December. The story is called "The Family Under the Bridge". I am hoping that we have even more 5th graders joining in! :)
