Sept. 5- Say name orally, "My name is (first), (middle), (last)."
Sept.12 - Say orally, "My teacher's name is Mrs. Whitcomb".
Sept. 19-I know the basic colors. (red,blue,yellow,orange,green, purple,black, brown, white)
Sept.26 - I know the basic shapes. (circle, square,triangle, oval, rectangle, rhombus)
Oct. 3- I can recite the alphabet (clearly say LMNOP)
Oct. 10- I know my phone number (including area code)
Oct. 17- I can show my left and right.
Oct. 24- I know my address (house number, street, city and state)
Oct. 31- I recognize and orally spell my first and last name
Nov. 7- I can identify numerals 0-10 out of sequence.
Nov. 14- I can identify all UPPERCASE letters.
Nov. 20 (TUESDAY)- I can match the correct number of objects to numerals 0-10.
Nov. 28- I can compare two numerals to determine greater than, less than, and equal to.
Dec. 5- I can match rhyming words using pictures.
Dec. 12- I can identify all lowercase letters.
Dec. 19- I can sequence a series of events using pictures.
Jan. 9- I can count objects accurately to 20.
Jan. 16- I know the sounds of all 26 letters (vowels have 2 sounds).
Jan. 23- I can count orally to 50.
Jan. 30- I can recite the days of the week and the months of the year.
Feb. 6- I can identify numerals 0-20 out of order and arrange them in sequence.
Feb. 13- I can read the color words (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, brown, black, and white)
Feb. 20- I can recite the pledge of allegiance.
Feb. 27- I can recognize and state the value of coins (penny, nickel, dime, and quarter).
March 6- I can name the end punctuation marks (period, exclamation mark, question mark).
March 13- I can count the number of syllables in a word by clapping.
March 20- I can print my first and last name using upper and lowercase letters.
March 27- Given a three letter word, I can isolate the beginning, middle and ending sound (ex: c/a/t).
April 10- I can explain how I have sorted a collection of items (ex. size, shape, color).
April 17- I know the 3d shapes (cube, sphere, cone, cylinder).
April 24- I can read number words (zero, one, two , three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten).
May 1- I can count by fives and tens to 100.
May 8- I can orally count to 100.
May 15- I can write numerals 0-9 correctly.
May 22- I can read the lightning words.
May 29- I can write the lightning words.
