Mrs. Rahman was raised in Toledo, Ohio where she graduated from Sylvania
Public Schools and The University of Toledo, earning a Bachelor of Education
Degree, focusing on Secondary Education with an emphasis on the content area
of English. She also earned a Master's Degree in Teaching from Marygrove
College in Detroit, MI.
Mrs. Rahman completed her student teaching at Sylvania Southview High School,
teaching British Literature, Advanced Writing, and Survey of Literature. She
then spent the next year teaching Sophomore English at Whitmer High School in
the Washington Local School District. Mrs. Rahman then returned to Sylvania
Southview teaching Sophomore English and Advanced Writing. For the past 7
years, Mrs. Rahman has taught Language Arts at Sylvania Arbor Hills
Junior High School.
