I had the privilage of student teaching here at Arbor Hills in the Fall of
96. After winter graduation, I was hired by Sylvania Schools to teach
English at McCord Junior High. At the end of that year, I was lucky enough
to be able to bid back to my original school, Arbor Hills, and have been
teaching here ever since. In the fall of 2000, I accepted the job of English
Department chair; in 2004, I obtained my Masters in order to better equip my
skills in the classroom. Since then, I have taken a variety of classes and
workshops to help keep me up on the lastest trends in education.
