How do the fourth and fifth graders get to and from Alpha?

Students are transported by bus from their "home school" to TC Knapp in the 
morning. In the afternoon, students are transported from TC Knapp to 
Pfeiffer Middle School to catch their neighborhood bus home. Students will 
be home about a half hour earlier than usual on Alpha days.

Do Primary Alpha students receive grades?

Primary Alpha students receive an evaluation mid and end year. All work that 
comes home will have a 3, 2, or 1 on it. 3 = Excellent, 2 = Average, and 1 = 
poor.....this is meant to give you a general idea of how your child is doing.

Do Fourth Grade Alpha students receive grades?

Fourth graders receive a Progress Report every nine weeks. They receive no 
letter grades for classroom work.

The fifth graders will receive letter grades for their work. This grade is 
to give you a general idea of your child's progress.
