1. A WRITTEN PAPER ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT WHICH WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

A. THE BUYING MOTIVE(S) USED WHEN PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT
B. THE BUYING DECISION(S) USED TO PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT
C. AT LEAST 8 FEATURES OF THIS PRODUCT
D. AT LEAST 8 BENEFITS OF THIS PRODUCT
E. THE TYPICAL SALES APPROACH THAT WOULD BE USED TO SELL THIS
PRODUCT
F. A BRIEF EXPLANATION/DESCRIPTION OF YOUR PRODUCT
G. ANY HISTORY OR INFORMATION ABOUT THE CONCEPTION/INVENTION
OF YOUR PRODUCT
THE LENGTH OF THE PAPER IS UP TO YOU. IT SHOULD BE AT LEAST 2 PAGES LONG,
BUT CAN BE LONGER. THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT YOU HAVE COVERED ALL
REQUIRED MATERIAL.
PLEASE DOUBLE SPACE YOUR PAPER AND HAVE 1” MARGINS. THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY
SPELLING OR GRAMMATICAL ERRORS. POINTS WILL BE TAKEN OFF FOR SPELLING OR
GRAMMATICAL ERRORS.
2. POWER POINT/PHOTO SHOP PRESENTATION, WHICH MUST INCLUDE:

B. MUST COINCIDE WITH YOUR PRESENTATION
C. MUST CONTAIN PERTINIT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT
D. COMPENSATION WILL BE GIVEN TO POWER POINT PRESENTATIONS
THAT COME “ALIVE” WITH COLOR/SOUND.
PLEASE HAVE THIS SAVED ON A DISK, OR A THUMB DRIVE. THIS WILL BE USED IN
CONJUNCTION WITH YOUR PRESENTATION TO THE CLASS.
3. PRESENTATION, WHICH WILL INCLUDE:

A. A VERBAL AND VISUAL PRESENTATION TO THE CLASS, USING YOUR
COMPUTER GENERATED PRESENTATION.
B. IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THE MAXIMUM SCORE, PLEASE INCLUDE
EXAMPLES OR SAMPLES OF YOUR PRODUCT.
C. STUDENT OBSERVATIONS IN REGARDS TO YOUR SALES
TECHNIQUES, PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE AND SUCCESS IN CONVINCING US
TO PURCHASE YOUR PRODUCT/SERVICE. (STUDENTS WILL BE
EVALUATING YOU)
D. TIME IS NOT A FACTOR. YOUR PRESENTATION CAN BE 5 MINUTES
LONG, OR 45 MINUTES LONG PROVIDED THAT YOU HAVE ACHIEVED YOUR
GOAL, AND SOLD THE CUSTOMER THE PRODUCT.
IMPORTANT ITEMS TO REMEMBER
ALL COMPONENTS ARE NECESSARY IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A PASSING GRADE.
YOU WILL BE GRADED ON NEATNESS, ACCURACY, CREATIVENESS AND EFFECTIVENESS.
REMEMBER TO USE SPELL CHECK AND GRAMMAR CHECK AND PROOF READ YOUR WORK.
POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED FOR SPELLING AND GRAMMATICAL ERRORS.
YOU WILL BE GIVEN AT LEAST 3 DAYS TO WORK ON THE SCHOOL COMPUTERS. USE THIS
TIME WISELY. IF POSSIBLE, MORE TIME MAY BE SCHEDULED. IF YOU NEED
ADDITIONAL COMPUTER TIME YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN ARRANGEMENTS. YOU MAY STAY
AFTER SCHOOL, OR USE YOUR OWN COMPUTER.
THIS WILL BE A MAJOR PORTION OF YOUR GRADE. FAILURE TO COMPLETE ALL PARTS
OF THIS PROJECT COULD RESULT IN YOUR FAILURE OF THE NINE WEEK PERIOD.

SELLING MOTOR OIL TO A CLASSROOM FULL OF WOMEN.
