WEEKLY ASSIGNMENTS
WEEK OF: November 16 through November 20, 2009
The following assignments are due to Mrs. Plakosh before sixth period on
November 20, 2009
Marketing Essentials/Chapter 3
1. Journal Prompt: What is your favorite home cooked meal? Does it have
any meaning to you? Tell me about your Thanksgiving traditions. (Worth 25
points)
2. We will be making fruitbaskets in lab on Thursday and Friday. Please
dress warm as the room will be chilly due to the perishable fruit. Please
be prepared to take your baskets home either Thursday or Friday.
Incidentally, all students assist with the baskets, whether you have sold
any or not.
3. Complete the crossword puzzle for Chapter 3. (Worth 30 points)
4. Extra Credit: Write a paragraph (or more) explaining “Black Friday” and
its significance for retailers.
Please note: All graded assignments must be put in your notebook, under
the “homework/weekly assignments” section. You will be responsible for this
information
These assignments are to be completed in lab, during slow times, when all
daily tasks are complete. If you do not finish them in lab, they are
considered homework.
Failure to turn in assignments will result in removal from lab until all
assignments are complete. Finishing these assignments is not an option!
Assignments turned in over one week late will not be accepted.
