Homework


Reading

The homework for the beginning of the 2009-2010 school year is to read.  When you have finished reading, read some more! Students should be reading 30 minutes each night.
Be a Better Reader:
Check your child's BBR Calendar to see what lessons are due.  The calendar is also on this website, in Reading Documents.
 
Language Arts:
 
Spelling: Spelling Test, Unit 1, Wednesday, September 16th. Also, skills pages are on the Language Arts Calendar.  Check your child's calendar to see what pages are due.  The calendars can also be found on Mrs. Harrison's website, which you can link to from this site.
 
Social Studies:
 
Quiz, Friday, September 18th.  The students need to label continents and oceans on a map, as well as answer questions that are form their notes.  Make sure you know latitude, longitude, hemispheres, equator and prime meridian.

Current Events will start next week.
