About The Teacher
Mrs. Counihan graduated with a Bachelors in Art in Zoology and History from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1983. She attended Ursuline College in 2001 to receive her Masters of Arts in Education. Mrs. Counihan lives in Cleveland Heights with her husband and three children, Sarah, 18, Allison, 15, and Daniel, 13. Sarah will be starting college this year at Case Western University. She has a dog named Fiona.

Mission
Our mission in Room 218 is to have a cooperative learning community that follows the teachings of Jesus Christ. Each child should be able to perform to his or her best ability, receiving help from others in the class. Each student should be willing to help each other when possible. In this way, we are a fully cooperative learning community, each helping each other. By helping each other, we are also following Jesus' teachings.
