Frequently Asked Questions
Review it each evening. Ask your child about the items written. Sign it every night. Each morning the student brings the planner to me, along with his/her work. I will stamp when I receive the work and initial. This lets you know that I've seen the work and it's been turned in.Back to Top
What do I do when my child says he/she has no homework?

How can I help my child in math?
Please review basic addition and subtraction facts. In third grade we expect the children to have learned these and have a quick recall of the basic facts through ten. For example: 6+5=ll Help your child learn to read a round analog clock (with hands - not digital). Also, allowing your child to work with money, making change, adding items together will help when we reach that section.Back to Top

Many ways. You can schedule to come to the classroom and work with individual students (either read to them or listen to them read). You can help me with xeroxing, cutting, etc. I will also need help from time to time w/other tasks in the classroom. Just let me know what you'd be interested in doing. Thanks!Back to Top
