Developed a series of new class offerings to best suit the needs of students 
at Warren. Advanced PE for 5-8th grades featuring plyometrics, agility, 
speed and balance along with sport specific training. Girls Only Class, 
featuring Aerobics, Thai Chi and self-defense.  Regular PE, featuring the 
traditional skills, games, physical activities and fitness lessons.

Richardson, Lisa Fernandez and Christa Williams drawing athletes from four

corporate sponsorships and record keeping.
•	Selected to the event staff for the 1996 Olympic Games for Fast 
Pitch Softball 1996
•	Chairperson of By Laws Committee Secretary, President Elect, 
President, Past President and Clinic Director of The Ohio High School Fast 
Pitch Softball Coaches Association representing all Softball Coaches in the 
State of Ohio.

Duties included:
•	Representing the State Coaches Association at the OHSAA Board of 
Controls Meeting developing rules changes for the state.
•	Directing player developmental camps and clinics.
•	Committee to select All Stars for Junior/Senior All Star Team.
•	Committee to select  All-Ohio Players for the All-Ohio Tournament 
Team.
•	Committee to select Hall of Fame Recipients.
•	Organized All-Ohio Tournament.
•	Clinic Director for the State Coaches Clinic 
•	Organized All-Ohio State Banquet, ordered and presented All-Ohio 
State Awards.
•	Prepared brochures, programs, clinic site, speakers, meals and 
accommodations for the state coaches clinic involving over 650 coaches.	
		
•	Initiated Ohio High School Fast Pitch Softball Coaches Association 
State Coaches Poll and Ranking System.

•	Representative and Scout for College Prospects of America a college 
athletic recruiting service.
•	Interviewed potential teacher/ coaches for staff positions with 
Marietta City Schools.
•	Marietta City Schools representative to the American Heart 
Association and American Cancer Society

marketed by Sportime, Atlanta GA



Coaching:

•	Pitching/ Hitting Coach Warren High School 2002 to date
•	Was recruited to initiate and coach the JV Softball program at 
Marietta College 1999
•	Was offered a teaching/coaching position at Peace College in Raleigh 
N.C. 1998.
•	The Ambush 18-U summer team qualified for the 1998 Division A NSA 
World Series 
•	Organized, implemented and coached the fast pitch softball program 
for the Marietta City Schools grades 7-12 for 1984-1997
•	178-63 Win-Loss Record, 46  All-League Players, 37 All-District and 
10 All-State players
•	Numerous players playing at the college level Division I-III
•	Coached  volleyball, basketball
•	Selected to coach the All-Ohio Junior Senior Fast Pitch All Star 
Team four times.
•	Selected to coach in the All-Ohio Fast Pitch Softball Tournament.
•	Selected to coach  international fast pitch softball teams 
representing the U.S.A. in Sydney  Australia and Sittard Holland.
•	Selected  Ohio High School Fast Pitch Softball Division I Coach of 
the Year 5 times
•	Selected South Eastern Ohio Athletic League Fast Pitch Softball 
Coach of the Year 6 times.
•	Prepared recruiting packets for athletes seeking a higher level of 
academic and athletic opportunities.


Red Cross Experience:

I spent three weeks in Shanksville, PA at the crash site of United Flight 93 
serving as       Mass Care assistant to the Job Boss. My role was to assist 
in all the organizational and procurement of supplies and volunteers needed 
after the 911 incident in September 2001.  

I worked many local disasters ranging from floods and chemical plant fires 
for our local chapter. 

I was on the DSHR National Disaster Trained personal list going to flood and 
tornado damaged areas of Ohio doing damage assessment.

Mission For The Class

To develop skillful movers and find ways to for students to enjoy movement. 
Always find a 
way to improve where you are. I don't want any student to leave Warren 
Elementary saying they hate Physical Education.
