Dear Parents,
Here's what's happening in 3-B this week:
Social Studies: Chapter 10 test will be Thurs., Nov. 12. The study guide
will be sent home on Tuesday.
Reading: Our test on "A Day's Work" will be Friday, Nov. 13.
Grammar/Writing: We are identifying singular and plural nouns, and working
on writing more descriptive sentences (Super Sentences!).
Math: Ch. 3 test will be Monday, Nov. 9. We'll begin Ch. 4-Subtraction.
Our timed tests will continue, some will be additon facts and some will be
subtracton facts. Please practice at home. You can download & print math
fact sheets at www.mathfactcafe.com. Kids can also practice facts on the
computer at this site. If you don't have internet, flashcards are great too!
AR: The goal for the month of November is 15 points. Remember, November is
a short school month with 4 days off from school. Our next Teacher Lunch
will be Wednesday, Nov. 25. Keep reading!

PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES: Nov.9 & 12 4:00-7:30. I have a couple of
slots left if you haven't signed up yet. I am looking forward to talking
with you about your child's progress!
Report Cards were sent home today. Please sign and return the envelope only.
NO SCHOOL NOVEMBER 11-VETERANS DAY.
THANKSGIVING DINNER-November 19. If you would like to eat with your child,
please call the office @ 373-4937 to make a reservation. Reservations must
be made by Nov. 13.
NO SCHOOL NOVEMBER 26 - 30.-THANKSGIVING BREAK.
