Today in Soc. St.

Students have been working on the standards for Government in social studies:

They learned rules, responsibilities, qualities of a good citizen, why we use 
elections to choose leaders, why we want our leaders to be honest and fair, 
the three purposes of the constitution, our rights and freedoms, and how the 
Ohio Constitution explains how state government should be organized and how 
it protects the rights of individuals.

Students also learned the vocabulary for the Pledge of Allegiance.
