PARENT INFORMATION
* Please consider joining the Woodland PTA if you haven't already. They are a
wonderful organization and provide so much for our school. The cost is $4 per
person. I would LOVE to have 100% participation. My husband and I have
already joined and would love to have more!!
* Our class auction was today and it was GREAT! The kids had a blast
spending their money on all kinds of items. Thank you sooooooo much to all
those who donated!
* Our 2nd Elegant Dining is this Thursday, November 19th. Please be sure your
child is dressed up for the day. They looked wonderful this past Thursday.
This program teaches all about table manners and proper etiquette. It's lots
of fun!
* Please be sure to send a note if you are going to be picking your child up
early. This helps me prepare them so they are ready when you arrive. Thank you!
* The Woodland Reading Club
Reporting for the 2nd grading period has begun. Please encourage your child
to read and meet the goal for the next reading party!
* The next PTA night is at one of my family favorites Chick-fil-a. If you have
not been there it is on Howe Avenue by Chapel Hill Mall. We are in need of
volunteers to help with the prize wheel and maybe even hold signs to bring
people in to the restaurant. This “Spirit Night” as they call it will provide
Woodland with 10% of the proceeds. This fun will all happen on Monday 11/16
between 5-8pm. I hope to see you all there!
