PARENT INFORMATION
* Please consider joining the Woodland PTA if you haven't already. They are a
wonderful organization and provide so much for our school. The cost is $4 per
person. I would LOVE to have 100% participation. My husband and I have
already joined and would love to have more!!
* Our class auction is this Thursday and we are in NEED of items. Any gently
used or new games, books, toys, gel pens, mechanical pencils, etc. One’s
person trash is another person’s treasure. You would be surprised at the
items that go for the most!
* The fourth grade Elegant Dining program is coming up. Please send in $5
(this is for both dates) or send a note in stating you would like your child
to use the money in their school account. This program teaches all about
table manners and proper etiquette. It's lots of fun!
* Please be sure to send a note if you are going to be picking your child up
early. This helps me prepare them so they are ready when you arrive. Thank you!
* The first Reading Club Party is this Thursday. Congrats to those going for
all your extra hard work!
* The next PTA night is at one of my family favorites Chick-fil-a. If you have
not been there it is on Howe Avenue by Chapel Hill Mall. I am in need of
volunteers to help with the prize wheel and maybe even hold signs to bring
people in to the restaurant. This “Spirit Night” as they call it will provide
Woodland with 10% of the proceeds. This fun will all happen on Monday 11//16
between 5-8pm. I hope to see you all there!

for you and you would like to help please let me know:
Anytime on Mon, Tues, or Thurs. If parents specifically want to help during
our art time that's on Thurs. 11-12pm.
