Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! I am so excited to be your child's
teacher, and we are going to have a wonderful year together. I wanted to
share a little bit about myself with you.
I graduated from Kent State University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in
Education. I have been teaching for the Stow-Munroe Falls City School
District for 12 years. In those years, I have worked with students in the
First and Fourth grade levels.
My husband Nate and I have been married for 10 years. We have 3 fabulous
little boys. Cale is 6 years old, Luke is 5 years old, and Camden is 2 years
old. They LOVE playing outside, taking walks, and riding their bikes.
They keep us very busy!!
My favorite food is pizza! I really have a sweet tooth for pie, I just love
it, especially fruit pies! YUM. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because
its all about spending time with family and friends and the food is the best!
My favorite color is green.
Every summer for the last 10 years we have gone to Sunset Beach, NC. The
beach is my favorite place and the boys just love the sand and the ocean. We
went for two weeks this past June and had a great family vacation. We also
went to Kennywood and had so much fun riding all the rides, even Camden. The
boys also love the zoo. We have a family pass so we visited the Akron and
Cleveland Zoo several times.
I am looking forward to a terrific school year together with all of you! See
you on August 27th!
We will always strive to show good character by being kind, helpful, and

grow academically and socially and to become good citizens.
