I'm Melissa Pockl and this is my 13th year teaching in Stow! I
started teaching kindergarten and then went to 1st grade and then 3rd grade.
When given the opportunity to return to 1st grade 11 years ago, I jumped at the
opportunity. I got a BA in Elementary Education in 1997. I then attended the
University of Akron to obtain a MA in Elementary Education with a focus in
literacy.
I live in Stow with my husband Greg and our two children. Our son T.J. is
7 and will be in 2nd grade at Woodland. Jason is our youngest son and is 4 and
attends the preschool at Indian Trail.
I look forward to a brand new school year and getting to know the new students
in my class.
