ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS!!
You have been provided with a planner which we hope will be easy to use and
helpful. You are expected to take it to classes and take it home. However,
you realize that planners are only good if you USE them!! All of my weekly
assignments are not only announced, but placed on the poster at the front of
the room, usually at the beginning of the week. Occasionally, there will be
assignments which are added as needed, and dates of tests or quizzes may
have to be changed. The main responsibility is with the student in this
area. There will also be more expected of higher grades, and 5th grade
students will be given more guided time with the planner.
HANDBOOK: The handbook is being revised and will be sent home when it is
available.
LOCKS and LOCKERS: All students must have a combination lock on
lockers. All lock combinations must be on file with the teacher.
A copy will be in the office in case of illness, and a parent can
come in to get books out for homework. No stickers or adhesives
which do not easily remove at the end of the year should be used.
