Sr. Teresa Mitchell, a beloved 8th grade teacher at St. Veronica, brought blessings to this school for 24 years by her exceptional teaching skills and her ability to bring out the best in her students. Sr. Teresa lost her battle to cancer in September 2008.
The St. Veronica Music Program is pleased to announce that the song "Lily of the Valley," composed by Ted Stevenot in honor of Sr. Teresa, is now available as a 'single' online at iTunes, Amazon.com, Napster, and other online music sites! You can purchase this song for 99 cents and forever save it on your computer, MP3 player, or iPod. All money raised will be given to the Sr. Teresa Scholarship Fund - an award given to a graduating 8th grade student who genuinely loves learning and who demonstrates an outstanding command of English.
The song, "Lily of the Valley," was recorded by the 2008/2009 St. Veronica Vocal Ensemble and features soloists Amani Elfar, Kelsey Vincent, and Veronika Crawford (all current 8th graders).
