Week of: September 12 to September 19, 2008

Monday - Friday
1.) Daily Drawing from the still life - five drawings are worth 10 points
each for participation.
2.) Weekly drawing - Exploring the concept of color as having temperature.
This weeks assignment will demonstrate all previously taught pencil methods
(tranparent, opaque, blended, and pattern) along with a cool color scheme.
Tuesday - Friday
1.) Continuation of color wheel concepts: primary, secondary and
intermediate color as it appears on the 12 color wheel. The lesson will
focus on creating the wheel and all related color utilizing the medium of
water color.
2.) This weeks studio project will focus on value drawing and continuation
of mastering the technique of blended pencil. Our project will involve
producing a set of value scales and a drawing that creates the illusion of
dimension.
