PART OF LEARNING IS LEARNING TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. THE PENALTY IN LIFE FOR NOT
FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS IS TO LOSE YOUR JOB! THE EMAIL INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON THE FAQ.
Bookreports(2) for the fourth quarter are due Tuesday May 20 2008. They must
be MORE than 3 pages long and discuss what you got out of the novel. You need
to use proper essay format (see the FAQ).
DON'T FORGET YOU HAVE YOUR INDIVIDUAL GOALS TO TURN IN AS THE QUARTER
PROGRESSES!! YOU NEED TO HAVE 4 GOALS PER QUARTER. YOU MUST SEND ME AN EMAIL
WITH YOUR FOUR (4) GOALS FOR THE THIRD QUARTER WITH COMPLETION CRITERIA AND
COMPLETION DATE BY Wednesday MARCH 28, 2008
IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE YOUR WEEKLY ASSIGNMENTS BEFORE MIDNIGHT OF THE SUNDAY
OF THE NEW WEEK YOU WILL GET A LOWER GRADE!!!
All students need to use the vocabulary building website
http://www.freerice.com/. You do not have to register but you do need to go
to the options page and select the option to remember your vocabulary level
and donation level. Your assignment is to donate at least 1200 grains per
week. You need to email me, using the standard addressing, a copy of your
total result each week. This week I will want it by Friday midnight. IF YOU
FAIL TO USE THE PROPER ADDRESSING FORMAT I WILL NOT ACCEPT IT!!
You all need to sign up for the SAT Question of the Day(QOTD) on the
refdesk.com web page. You will need to send me an email reflecting your
membership. You will now be able to keep track of your results of doing the
SAT QOTD and, of course, keep me apprised of your progress. Send me your
cumulative results whenever you get seven questions answered. This is a weekly
assignment. Seven questions per week.
