Science Project Part II

Science Project Research Paper

A research paper must be placed in front of your project during the science fair and class presentation!  The paper must be double-spaced.

A copy of your research paper must be submitted by the deadline date!

The research should contain the following items and placed in a folder:

           

Title Page:    Project Question, your name, class period and date submitted.

 

Abstract:       One page (summary of your project)

 

Introduction:  Purpose, theory and hypothesis 2-3 paragraphs.

 

Research:           A one-page summary of your library research about the topic investigating.

Procedure:          A detailed procedure and materials.

Discussion:         Table(s) and Graph(s) this section is the most important part of the paper.  Be thorough

Helpful hint: go to www.sciserv.org/isef this site will give you detailed steps to include in your discussion. 

The student handbook will describe the contents and review how to complete the research paper.

Evaluation:           Follow the steps required in the lab book guidelines

(stylebook guidelines on the web page or your lab book).

Acknowledgements:  Thank U’s.  Credit those who help you with the project preparation and completion (Optional)

Bibliography: This must contain ten references per person. You may head this works cited. APA style without annotations
