                       All-City Honor Band Auditions

This is an update on the All-City Honor Band auditions. Auditions will
take place at John Marshall High School on Saturday, November 14, 2009. The
original times may have changed so students should check the wall outside the
band room and note the new time and room assignment.

John Marshall High School is located at 12201 N. Portland (west of Lake
hephner Parkway on 122rd St). The auditions will be held in the Fine Arts
wing of John Marshall. Students should enter at the south entrance and use
the cafeteria area for warm up and waiting.

Students should arrive at John Marshall at least 45 minutes before their
performance time to check the room location and scale to be played. Then
return to the warm up room and prepare. Students should register at the door
or their audition room 10 minutes before their draw time. After you draw a
number you will wait your turn. After your performance you are free to
leave. I will record the students who made the band on my announcement web
page around 3:00pm.

Parents, if you have any questions regarding this competition, please call me
at 962-0245 by Friday, November 13th.

Everyone in the Classen SAS Band program is capable of making this honor band
but you must seriously practice. Students, you know what to do......JUST DO
IT!!
