Classes begin promptly at 8:30- please have your child on time to school if at all possible.
Remember to turn in receipts from Quail Springs Mall to the office for the My School's Cool Contest.
Field Trip to Camp Dakani is May 14th. We are sending home a permission slip from Camp Dakani. This is from the camp and different than the permission slip you previously signed. Please return the camp permission form by Friday, May 3rd. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to chaperone a group. We will let you know more information about chaperoning as the date approaches.
*Students must bring a sack lunch.
*Students must wear their DC field trip shirt.
Talent Show is May 15th@ 2:00 in the cafeteria. The talent show has become an annual fourth grade tradition. Students are encouraged to enter acts to show off their talent. Last year we had singers, dancers, musicians, skits, comedians, etc. Students are allowed to be in more than one act. Parents and family members are invited to attend the show! Look for more information soon.
Antler Day is May 17th. Antler Day notes will be sent home. Please return notes by Friday, May 3rd
Our Fourth Grade Auction will be May 21. You may start sending auction items at any time.
Tug of War is May 22nd. We will let you know the schedule as soon as it has been made available.
The last day of school is May 23rd. Fourth Grade Awards are at 12:00 in the gym. We are starting a new tradition this year with a fourth grade picnic party celebration at 11:00 before the awards. Parents and families will bring lunch for their child and we will all picnic together as a fourth grade Prairie Vale family. Sack lunches will be available for PV students only in the cafeteria if needed. More detailed information about the picnic was emailed out and sent home.
