Monday: Hornbook Activity
**Students will make their own Puritan Hornbook Primer in class
Tuesday: Chapter 8 - Lesson #2 (Middle Colonies / William Penn)
**Students will learn about William Penn and the Quakers' desire for
religious freedom in a new English colony
**Follow-up questions & map over lesson (homework if not completed in class)
Wednesday: Chapter 8 - Lesson #3 (Southern Colonies / Debtors in Georgia)
**Students will learn about James Oglethorpe and his plan to start Georgia
as a colony for people to work off debts and get cheap land
**Follow-up questions & map over lesson (homework if not completed in class)
Thursday: Colonial Village Design
**Students will work in pairs to design and color their own colonial village
Friday: Colonial Village Design
**Students will work to complete their colonial village
