Mrs. Jackson - This is my fifth year as the Language Arts teacher at
Prairie Vale. I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful school. We are
going to be extremely busy with "Hands on Grammar", spelling, and writing
lessons throughout the year. One of the main challenges for fifth grade
students is preparing for the CRT writing test in February.
This is my eighth year to teach. I taught sixth grade for two years
and one year of fifth in the Lawton Public School System. I received my
bachelor's degree from East Central University in Ada, Ok.
The area of my life that I am most proud of is my wonderful family. My
husband Tobin and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary this summer He is the
youth minister at Quail Springs Baptist Church. We have three wonderful
sons Reid, Blaine, and Kale. Reid graduated two years ago from DC and is
attending UCO. Blaine is a senior at the high school, and Kale is in the
eighth grade at the middle school.
My e-mail address is jacksonl@deercreek.k12.ok.us.
Mrs. Kidd - Hello and welcome to fifth grade! My name is Kelli Kidd and I
teach Science, Math, and Technology at Deer Creek Prairie Vale. I am not
only a teacher in this wonderful district but a patron as well. My husband,
Don, and I live near Prairie Vale with our three children - Ryan, who is a
graduate of Deer Creek Schools, Aaron, who is a junior at Deer
Creek High School, and Hannah, who is a seventh grader at Prairie Vale. I
have lived in Oklahoma all my life, graduating from John Marshall High
School and The University of Central Oklahoma.
My teaching career includes ten years at Sequoyah Elementary School in
Oklahoma City where I taught second, third, and fourth grades. I spent five
years at home with my children and returned to teaching five years ago at
Prairie Vale.
I feel that I have truly been blessed with my teaching assignment here. To
actually be teaching my favorite subject to my favorite-aged students in
such an awesome district is a privilege. I look forward to taking on the
responsibility of inspiring every fifth grader to love the world of Science!
My e-mail address is kiddk@deercreek.k12.ok.us

Mrs. Schwiebert - Welcome to fifth grade! This is my 13th year at Prairie

we have 2 children - Kristin, who is a student in the Vet Tech program at
OSU/OKC and Matt, who is a senior at Truman State University in

I strongly believe that all children are born with special gifts. We
will be working this year to discover each child's strengths and learning
strategies that will work best for individual success. Please feel free to
