I am a native of Oklahoma City. I have my Bachelor's Degree and
Master's Degree from Oklahoma State University. I worked as a SoonerStart
Resource Coordinator for seven years before I became a teacher of students
with special needs. I have been with Deer Creek since 2002. I am a candidate
for National Board certification, and I have served as president of the
Antler Association of Classroom Teachers.
I am married and have three teenage daughters: Elizabeth graduated from
Deer Creek High School and is now in college. Abby and Kate are currently
students iat Deer Creek High School. I am a marathon runner, and an active
member of my church where I teach Sunday School and serve on various boards
and committees. In my spare time (what's that?) I enjoy running, reading,
spending time with my family, and church activities.
To learn through play, addressing the five developmental domains, and to
experience the school setting with safety and joy.
