Hello! My name is Tiana Plemons and I am the vocal music specialist at DCES.
I am a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist Univeristy with a degree in Vocal music
education. This year I am co-chair for a regional honor choir, Circle the
State with Song. This is a great opportunity for kids to sing with some of the
most talented kids in our region which includes Putnam City schools, Deer
Creek schools, and Heritage Hall.
I have been married for 3 years to my wonderful husband, Kyle Plemons. We
have a golden
retriever named Ben, who will be 2 in December. We now have a precious baby
boy, Grayson Kyle Plemons who was born on August 9! He is a sweet baby and we
are excited to start this new chapter of parenthood!
My parents live in Aurora, Colorado, which is also where I attended high
school. I have a sister who is
studying at UCO and a brother who is studying at Texas A&M. When I
visit my parents and friends in Colorado I love to go hiking and white water
rafting or anything else that gets me outside to enjoy the beautiful Rocky
Mountains. I have tried on several occasions to snowboard and ski but I’m
just not that good at it and I am scared of heights.
In my spare time I love to play with my little boy, Grayson, sing, go to
musicals, walk my dog Ben who is a
mamma's boy :-), and I love to shop...mostly for shoes.
I can't wait to see old faces and see some new faces too. I am excited to
start another great year at DCES once I return from maternity leave!
