This page will answer questions commonly asked by students and parents.

Will my child have homework?

Not really. I ask that you read with your child and talk about
his/her day for approximately 20 minutes each night. I may also
send home projects to be worked on at home, but will always send
home detailed instructions as well as allow ample time for the
projects to be completed. :)

What should I do if my child will be absent?

Please notify the front office as soon as possible when you know
that your child will be absent. In addition, please
e-mail me as well so that I can be as prepared as possible.
Thank you!

May I send birthday treats with my child?

If you would like to send birthday treats with your child on
his/her birthday, that would be wonderful...just please let me
know ahead of time so we can plan for it! Also, please send
napkins and/or plates if needed with the snack.

Will I be notified about my child's behavior?

Your child will be bringing home his/her BEAR binder everyday. If there is
ever a major behavior concern, a note will be in there. I may also
notify you via e-mail if there wasn't enough time during the
day to write a note. If you ever have any concerns regarding your
child's behavior, please let me know! Thank you!
