Hello and welcome to Mrs. Ray’s pre-k! My name is Amy
Ray (formerly Golladay) and I’m so thrilled to be teaching your child this
year. This is my 6th year teaching; my 3rd year teaching at Deer Creek
Elementary! I feel so blessed to be here!
I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2007 with a degree in
Early Childhood Education and have loved teaching ever since! I taught 2nd
grade for two years, all-day pre-k for one year, 1st grade for one year, and pre-k last year. I'm
excited to be teaching my favorite grade, pre-k! I recently went from being Miss Golladay to Mrs. Ray
when I got married this summer to my wonderful husband, Casey. I spend my free time decorating
our house, playing with my dogs (Doc & Charlie), being with friends and family, spending time with
my husband, and reading!
I believe every child deserves to be successful on a daily basis. I
feel that creating a safe and comfortable environment is vital to the success
of each student. My goal is for every child to feel both successful and
