Hello Wonderful Parents! It's Mrs. Harrison. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you that still sent me things and sweet notes for Teacher Appreciation Week! Carol Green brought them to me on Friday afternoon. You are all the best parents and so sweet and thoughtful. I miss your little ones so much and think about them every day! I was going to try and come to awards but was put back on very strict bed rest on the Wednesday before. I had an ultra sound that said my cervix is shortening and a test that said I could possibly have the baby in the next 2 weeks, so we really want him to stay in there. Tell your little ones that I love them so much and please give them all a hug and kiss from me! I can't believe they only have 5 more days!!! Don't forget you are all invited to see Ramey once he is here, hopefully not for at least 5 more weeks, my goal now is 36 weeks but longer would be great!!! Remember if you need me or want to email me my home email is meredithaharrison@gmail.com
Have a great last week of school!!!

We are planning a special gift to give our moms for Mother’s Day. We are asking for a $2.00 donation to go toward the supplies for making our gifts. If you are unable to contribute for some reason, it will be okay. If you would like to include a little extra, that would be appreciated. Please try to have all money turned in by Friday, May 4th. Thanks in advance for helping us create a nice gift for our wonderful mothers!
If you are purchasing your child’s Spring Pictures, please put your money in the envelope provided. If you are not making a purchase, please return all of the pictures. Thank you!

Dear wonderful DCES Parents:
It is that time of year again that I am needing volunteers for Antler Day! We would love for you to come and hang out for the day or if you’re only able to stay part of the day that’s great also. This day is only possible with the help of volunteers who run the stations.
Antler Day is Friday, May 4th. 3-5thgrade will be from 9:30am-11:30 and k-2ndis from 1-3pm.
Please respond to this email if you are able to help on that day and let me know what time/s work best for you.
Thanks in advance for your help! It is greatly appreciated!

I have created a blog to keep family and friends updated on what is going on and to give me something to do. If you would like to follow my blog the address is http://harryandmeredithharrison.blogspot.com/
Obviously, don't feel like you have to read it, but I know some of you would like to know what's going on!

I guess you have all heard that I have to stay on bed rest until the end of my pregnancy. My original appointment was suppose to be tomorrow but my doctor bumped it up so I got to go in early to see her.
I am still have contractions hourly, they are getting better, but she wants me to stay on bed rest to help keep this little guy cooking. She did say that I can still go to my baby classes and showers, so that is good, but other than that I'm pretty much stuck at home.
I am so sad and sorry that I will not be able to finish out the year with your sweet kids. You really have no idea how sad I am about it. I love them all so much and hate that I didn't get to give them any warning that I was leaving or get to say goodbye. They are all such smart kids and are going to do great with the sub. They are an amazing class and I miss them each day. I am going to try and come up to see them at some point if I can.
And don't forget you are all invited to come and see the baby once he is here. I might wait until he is a month or so old and has had some shots before their germy little hands hold him
But don't worry, you will all be invited to visit!
I appreciate and thank you all so much for the sweet emails you have been sending and for your thoughts and prayers. They mean so much to me. Remember, if you want to email me, you need to use my home address because the substitute is using my school email.
My home email is meredithaharrison@gmail.com if you have lost it.
You can tell your little ones that I love them more than they can imagine and I miss them so so so much! And they would like to know that "Lemon" is getting big (so is my stomach) and kicking me ALL the time. And "Lemon" now has a name! We finally decided last night, Ramey Michael Harrison. Ramey was my PaPa's name and Michael is my father-in-law and husband's middle name.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or need anything.
