Wow--what a wonderful first two days we had! I am so excited about the
sweet group of children in our class. We spent time learning about our
classroom routines and getting familiar with the school and each other.
This week, I will be assessing each child's reading and math skills. We
will be starting our reading groups soon. We will begin in Math with
patterns and addition.
Please fill out and return (if you have not already done so) the
transportation, student information, tee-shirt, and medical forms as soon
as possible.
Our first Spelling list will be sent home the first week of September, and
you will find that in your child's red take-home folder.
The red folders go home each night, and return each day to school. Please
be sure to empty it of your child's work and important information from
school.
Green behavior folders will be sent home on Fridays for you to review and
sign and return the following Monday.
Please be sure to label and send a snack with your child each day.
