Welcome back to school for the new 2011-2012 year school year at Grove
Valley.
We have 19 students in our class this year. There are 9 boys and 10
girls. We have 3 new students that have joined us from other schools. We are
so delighted to have them at Grove Valley.
I have asked each student to bring a personal water bottle. Students will
keep the water bottle at their desk during the day, and at night they will
take it home to be returned the following day. Brain research shows students
perform much better when they keep hydrated. The brain needs "lots" of water.
Our classroom gets very cool from time to time. Students are encouraged to
bring a light jacket to school to insure their comfort.
