Accelerated Reader

The AR Goal for each 9 weeks is based on your child's reading level and 
his/her reading ability.  This goal will be easily met through your child's 
independant reading and the books that I read aloud to them during Teacher 
Read Aloud time.  There are many opportunities for your child to take AR 
tests throughout the week.  We visit the computer lab 2-3 times a week and 
when classwork is completed they will be allowed to take an AR Test on our 
classroom computer.
