I have sent home the letters as to which semester and dates your child comes
to art club. Please refer to the Art Club page on my website for the complete
listing of dates.
*2011-2012 Yearbook
November 28th- This week yearbook order forms will go home with your child.
If you wish to purchase a yearbook please return the form and a check made
payble to DCES with your child. Books will cost $25 each and if you would
like your son or daughter's name printed on the cover it will be an
additional $5.
DEADLINE TO ORDER A YEARBOOK IS FEB. 15th!!
Extra yearbooks will not be ordered.

Art Grades
Grades in art are based on the young artist's effort, creativity and
application of concepts. I encourage the artists to trust themselves and to
think outside of the box. Also each art piece is 100% child created and
wonderful in everyway. I do not use any kits or premade samples for the
young artists to copy. I believe in creativity!
The visual art grading system is as follows:
E= The best grade a young artist can receive.
S= This grades means the young artist needs to work a little harder.
I or U= They mean the the young artist needs to work a lot harder.
