The school year is already off to a great start! We have been learning our
procedures and have developed our class creed for this year. The 3rd graders
are learning how to write a "Super Sentence", and 4th and 5th graders will be
learning how to write a descriptive sentence. We have had a lot of fun
reading some of the many Dr. Seuss books, as that is our theme this year.
I have started using a website called "Spelling City" Please visit it
following the link on my LINKS page. The students can look up their spelling
lists, then play spelling games, study, and take practice tests. I hope this
will be a fun way for them to practice their words and take spelling tests
each week.
