My name is Dixi Palu and this will be my third year at Deer Creek
Elementary where I am excited to start the best year in the most fabulous third grade!
I feel blessed to have such an opportunity to be a part of Deer Creek Schools, but more important,
your wonderful child's life! I love spending each day watching the children grow and learn and know
that each child is special and it's their unique individuality that will make our classroom go round.
Thank you for sharing your child with me this year as we journey through 3rd grade together!
A little more about me; I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree
in elementary education and plan to continue my education in the future. I am married to a wonderful
man and my best friend, who is extremely supportive and kind. We have a small yorkie (Teak) who is
very playful and fun, two African Sulcata Tortoises (keeping us busy in yard work!), and a class fish!
When I'm not teaching or enjoying school activities, my husband and I like to explore new
places and cultures through traveling. I am excited about continuing to meet more of the DCES
community and look forward to having another fantastic year with such wonderful families, students,
and teachers!
