I have an awesome husband, Brian, a 9-month old daughter, Brooklyn, and a
darling cat, Nermal. My family is very important to me and I tend to
establish my classroom as a functioning family of its own.
I graduated from The University of Oklahoma in 2005 with a Bachelor's in
English and have my Masters in Traditional Studies of English
Literature from UCO. I am also a member of Sigma Tau Delta, which is the
International Honor Society
for English.
I am truly passionate about education, particularly reading and writing. If
you see me without a book in my hand, I promise there is one within reach! I
believe that every child has a beautiful story to contribute to this world
and hope that my teaching will impact them in such a way that our work in
this class will shape and enhance the story they end up telling.
