I grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from The University of Central
Oklahoma in 2003. I am married to a fantastic man and we have two dogs, Jack
and Bullsworth. We are expecting our first child, a little boy, in June.
I taught Language Arts in the Putnam City School District for three years.
This is my third year at DCMS.

Present traditional and contemporary literature for the student to read,
comprehend, analyze, interpret, and enjoy. Students will learn and employ
literary elements to make meaning from a wide variety of texts, including
short stories, poetry, novels, plays, mythology and nonfiction.
