I grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from The University of Central
Oklahoma in 2003. I taught 7th grade Language Arts in the Putnam City
School District for three years. This is my second year at DCMS.
I have been married since 2005 and have two dogs, Jack and Bullsworth.

Present traditional and contemporary literature for the student to read,
comprehend, analyze, interpret, and enjoy. Students will learn and employ
literary elements to make meaning from a wide variety of texts, including
short stories, poetry, novels, plays, mythology and nonfiction.
