Use this page for the Designer Dog Activity: You will be competing for a job in which you will create an ad campaign for a Designer Dog! You will work on this alone. You will show your presentation to the class. You will be graded on the quality of your work and the number of requirements included.

First use the activity to research the dogs. You will use the links to answer the questions on the Research link before beginning the advertisement.

Campaign Challenge:

1. Research Designer Dog websites to become familiar with the dogs.

2. Choose a dog or come up with your own combination and create an advertisement PowerPoint which will later be used as a website.

3. Include the following:

• Information on your dog's best characteristics
• Pictures of your dog
• Slogan for your dog advertisement
• Sound effects created in Garage Band for your presentation
• Presentation will include:
• A fully developed advertisement
• Pictures
• Slides designs need to feature "dogginess"
• Sounds
• Video if possible
• Transitions
• Animations
• Cost of the dog
• Selling points of your breed combination
• The presentation must last between 1.5 and 2 minutes.
• Check your work for errors and correct them
• Make sure your font, background, wordart, and any other feature adds to your presentaton and does not distract from the selling point.
• Make the consumer/buyer/owner want your dog!
• Added Credit: Use Google Sketchup to create sometning for your dog. ie. Dog house, Condo, Dog dish....
