Track Season 2009 is officially over!!! All four teams earned the honor of being named Suburban
Conference Champions!!!
The students really were impressive!!!
Thank you for a wonderfull track season. The coaches would like to thank parents who helped by
working the meets, picking up trash, brings drinks and food, and most of all encouraging your
children in their events.
All track uniforms need to turned in to the coaches by Wednesday, April 29th.

THANK YOU!!!! Parents and DCMS track supporters... The Coaches and Administration of DCMS want
you to know how much we appreciate your time and energy shared by those who volunteered or were
recruited to work at our meet last Saturday. The athletes and workers helped make the meet a
great success. We had many comments from other coaches telling us how well the meet was going.
THANK YOU again for your help. The weather was more than we had hoped for. By the time we had
finished counting and cleaning the storm rolled in. What great timing! It was a great meet and
if you have not heard we won first place team in all four divisions.
Conference Meet:
The Suburban Conference meet will be held in Piedmont on April 25th. We will be taking
the
Varsity Track Team to the conference meet.
Piedmont is located west on Edmond Road. Continue west at the intersection of Piedmont
Road and Edmond Road/178th. You will see the Piedmont Football stadium on the south side of
178th.
We will plan on leaving at 8:40 am. Please be at the gym no later than 8:30.

Thanks for your help with the relays on Friday. If you were wondering why we had so few teams 2
teams were affected by school closures due to the fires. One school just simply did not show up.
Friday we had a 5 team relay meet. On Saturday, the 18th we will have about 20 teams coming.
We will need LOTS OF HELP!!! If you get this newsflash and are willing to help us out on
Saturday, April 18th please email brehmj@deercreek.k12.ok.us. I have already talked to some of
you and I want to thank you in advance. I will need this information by Tuesday. If you are
unable to help at the beginning of the day I can make some of the help 2 shifts.
