November 3- Rough drafts due; Edit their own papers using the checklist from
the board.
November 4- Write out neatly their final drafts for the persuasive music
project; Review for Vocab Test 9
November 5- Vocab Test 9; Start presenting their papers with their group
using any props to help represent their type of music to the class (a song,
clothing, dance, etc.)
November 6- Receive Vocab 10; Go over clues and pronunciations to help
remember the definitions for the vocab test. Any remaining groups present.

October 26-Nouns of Direct Address and appositives
October 27-Freewrite over favorite type of music; go over transition words,
good adjectives and adverbs, and when to use all three. Work on replacing
dead words. Assign groups for persuasive music group paper.
October 28-Powerpoint over persuasive writing; do graphic organzier. Practice
with the given prompt; go over persuasive music paper requirements.
October 29-Vocab Test 8; Work in groups and start writing and organizing the
persuasive paper
October 30-Vocab 9; go over pronunciations and clues to remember the words
and definitions. Complete the worksheet, word search, and work on sentences
using the words on their own.
